Hazards Campaign Conference Starts As Postcard To The PM Highlights Deaths At Work

In the week that Hazards Campaign held its annual conference last month for Union Safety Reps, their campaign of postcards to Theresa May was launched.

Pic: Hazards Postcard to PMWith the slashing of health and safety regulations, major cuts to the resources and commercialisation of the HSE not to mention the cuts to USRs rights to paid time of work as a result of the Trade Union Act 2016, and the loss of over 9,000 firefighter jobs; deaths at work and to the public are on the increase.

Theresa May made a great speech about equality and worker's rights, (not unlike Thatcher's and we all know how that ended up!) and as such Hazards have decided she needs reminding of her commitment to worker's equality. That means reducing the chances of deaths and accidents at work.

Send the new prime minister this Hazards Campaign ePostcard to remind her:

“Effective regulation and strict enforcement of safety laws saves lives. Please do not neglect them.”

Whilst the postcards have been handed out at the conference, Hazards supporters and everyone concerned about health and safety at work, can submit the postcard electronically via a dedicated website page here

Clicking on the image above will also take you to the page to sign up to send May your own postcard!
